Techstone was born when Joe and Johannes met in Zurich while raising capital together. Joe was MySpace’s first European technical employee. He built and led London-based m8 Capital and rebuilt the technology practice of Switzerland’s oldest venture firm. Now based in Adelaide with his wife and two children, he anchors our Asia-Pacific presence while staying closely connected to our European clients. Johannes spent more than eight years in Zurich advising corporates and startups on transactions, operations, and growth. As an active angel investor, he understands both sides of the table: what founders need and what investors expect. He leads our Zurich office. Together we founded Techstone to combine our complementary strengths and perspectives. This enables us to offer a broad range of capabilities, from CIO-level strategy to CFO and COO-level execution, all delivered with precision and independence. As a pure advisory‒fee‒only firm, we stay flexible and fully aligned with our clients’ needs.
